Dear Friends and special attention to Curt Jenkins, listmaster,

Apologies to you all for sending my message on the info line that I will be away for the April 9, Affirmation Sunday, and the SNAC all committees meeting the 12th. The information about the Strategic Plan seemed to me was appropriate for the info line. The rest was personal and would appropriately go to this, the chat line. I have written to Hal Fuller that I will miss his presentation.

Curt e-mailed to me that the Strategic Plan was developed via the various committee ministers and chairs with little top-down direction. He will post the Plan when it is more fully developed. I know some of the Lay Ministers and admire all who are working to keep UUCF strong. Our Senior Minister has given leadership training and appointed the various committee leaders. The changed By-laws if approved by the Congregation will give the Senior Minister the actual Authority to "suggest" and the Board to approve the leaders.

A Christmas gift of a computer allows me to stay in touch with you. All the RULES for what was once the most free-wheeling Unitarian Church in the area is new for me. The personal e-mail from Curt explaining the difference between the info and chat lines came to me April 7, my 75th birthday. I felt a little as if I was being disciplined by my father. Curt, my father called me "bull headed". Since growing up, I have read about Aeries people. My father was right.

What more can I say?      Long live UUCF.          Bye for now,          Billye Stevens

Michael,

Thought you might be interested in the goings on at UUCF-CHAT. Perhaps another addition to your Web page? It's pretty amazing....
