The Report of the UUCF Ombudsman's Committee was extremely well written and well thought out. Congratulations! Whether the report makes a dent in the scout leader culture (CEO is a little too high-class a description) is another matter....But it deserves to.
I want to add my endorsement and comment that many of the situations cited are indeed shocking. I was unaware of just how bad the treatment of (certain) church members--and how good the treatment of (certain) other church members--is at UUCF. And now I know how to get treated well!$!$$!!!!
The report certainly explains the atmosphere I encountered at the most recent Saturday night auction. It didn't seem like the same church anymore, and that is sad.
The report's recommendations are right on, and well documented by what precedes them. What's next? Perhaps everybody should be informed of the reactions and formal responses of the Board and Senior Minister, in particular.

P.S. - One of the most irksome features of the current regime is the way the Senior Minister encodes his weekly newsletter column with the acronym GAMS. I'm sure its meaning was revealed at one point, but those who missed it can only guess. Does it mean?
