Although I do not agree with most of Mark's comments in his latest e-mail I must comment on one part. Tony De Camp is a very nice guy! I have known this for a very long time. We have been married 7 years and been together for 5 years before that (One thing about him is that it takes him a long time to make up his mind).
It took him a long time to make up his mind about issues concerning this congregation . He was not a member of the focus group in the beginning and when he became convinced that things were wrong he still did not jump on the list serve and start blasting everyone in sight.
He never blasted anyone. Yet, I have been told that some folks were told to only vote for the people nominated by the nominating committee.
I'm so sorry that people did not take the time to get to know Tony and listen to his views. He is a very smart man.
