Mike,
It has been a while since I perused your web site. Honestly, I never looked at your UUCF archive. What a mess that was! I still try to listen to Alisa and not avoid people from Fairfax, because many of them are still our friends. Nonetheless, I am glad to no longer be part of that hopeless dialogue.

I did learn a few things from it. My communication skills improved. My perceptions of what constitutes a healthy community sharpened. I also carried from that experience a desire to warn others, especially a congregation like UUS with a very synergistic mix of people and goals, of how all of these good intentions can be devastated by either an individual or more importantly, by a lack of openness and good communication.

Even if the visitors to these pages are sparse, I hope that you retain them. If there ever is a review process at UUCF, you have preserved a valuable record. Your site reminds me of a Jewish saying, the words of which I'm sure that I don't have right, but it went something like, "Forgive, but never forget."

Talk with you later,
Gary
